Everything was modern, breakfast was good value for money. We really enjoyed the double room which was good-sized and newly decorated with all the necessities. The food was fabulous, outstanding.

Its location in Madrid was amazing and beautiful, so close to charming restaurants, main tourist points and traditional tapas bars and restaurants. Furthermore, near other attractions.

Best Location in Madrid...lots of great bars & restaurants nearby but not at all noisy. The room we stayed in was small but really beautiful. New, modern, comfortable, clean.....
Staff were really nice but maybe there should be a paging system to get in contact with them as they are not always at the desk.

The street noise levels during the night are quite disruptive!!! The small room sizes can, especially if you're traveling with luggage!!!

Staff were welcoming and friendly
Noise all around the hotel. I had asked, and was given, a room with balcony on the third and last floor. Yet, the noise from the street and from inside the hotel, which hosts a pub on the ground floor, did not allow to rest until 3 A.M. each day. Also, the hotel ventilation system was not functioning properly and the food smell from the kitchen restaurant could make it all the way through my room. Also, unlike what stated on Booked.net at the moment when I made my booking, this hotel does not have a laundry service nor a proper room service. Overall, I think this hotel is overrated.

exploring charming streets near royal palace and el retiro park
I loved the charming neighborhood with plenty of cafes and restaurants, and I found it super easy to walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid and enjoy a relaxing afternoon in El Retiro Park, only a bit over two kilometers away.

Romantic room, reasonably large bathroom and excellent service. Location adjacent to many sights / restaurants / bars, the center of Madrid and most "must see" attractions. For shots visit Casa Lucas, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

Everyone that worked in the hotel was extremely helpful. The location was extraordinary.
During the night the rooms in the first floor were very noisy, because the hotel has a bar in the ground floor.

The location is ideal, on a street full of tapas bars and with a nice view from our room with balcony, overlooking a church. From here there is walking distance to all places of interest in the city of Madrid, we didnt use the metro once. The staff is friendly and the lunch we had in the restaurant was very tasty. The room was comfortable and with hip design, and very well isolated from any noise. We will go back for sure for our next visit to Madrid. Dont miss the mercado de San Miguel near plaza mayor and a few minutes from the hotel, very nice market where you can try different kinds of tapas and drinks.
Not really, the toilet installation is maybe not the most comfortable in the world but there is no complaint that would stop me from going back.
